Along with the storm-related incidents, Indiana County’s first responders were called out for accidents and a structure fire on Sunday.
A fire was reported at 2:45 in the morning on Stonetown Road in Canoe Township. Six fire departments from Indiana and Jefferson Counties were called out for the incident. Details on the fire have not been released.
The first accident on Sunday was on North Walnut Street in Blairsville at 6:08 AM. Blairsville fire and police departments were sent to the scene. The other accident was reported at 9:08 PM on Canoe Ridge Road in Canoe Township. Rossiter and Glen Campbell fire departments, state police from the Punxsutawney barracks and Punxsy EMT’s were dispatched. Details on the crashes have not been released.
