One person was hurt this morning in a crash in Center Township.
Indiana county sent State Police, the Homer City Fire Department and Citizens’ Ambulance to Jacksonville Road east of Old Route 56 West at 12:13 this morning. Troopers say that 53-year-old Donald Newman of Johnstown failed to negotiate a left curve in the road, hit a guide rail on the eastern berm, then went into a nearby creek.
Newman had possible injuries and was taken to IRMC by Ciizens’ Ambulance for treatment. The Honda Pilot he was driving was disabled and had to be towed. Newman will be cited for not driving on roadways laned for traffic.
