Firefighters from Indiana and Jefferson counties were summoned to a structure fire Wednesday morning in Canoe Township.
Rossiter, Marion Center, Perry Township, Punxsutawney, Lindsey, and Glen Campbell fire departments were dispatched to an Amish furniture store along Rishell Road around 11:27 a.m., with Commodore and Oliver Township crews summoned about a half-hour later.
Shelly Pennington with the Rossiter Fire Department said the building was fully involved when firefighters arrived and it is a total loss. She adds no one was inside the building when the fire started and crews were not able to determine the cause, but they believe it was accidental in nature.
Crews were on-scene for about three hours.
