The crash was reported at 8:55 this morning near the intersection of Route 422 and Miller Drive. A white pickup truck veered off the road, shearing a utility pole on the westbound side of the road.
Elderton fire department, state police, Citizen’s Ambulance and Penelec crews were on the scene, but traffic in both directions was blocked around the crash scene as crews are working to replace the utility pole. Initial reports said that two people were able to get out on their own.
