A mobile home in Kittanning was razed by a fire this morning.
Elderton, Iselin/West Lebanon, Citizens’ Ambulance, and Commodore Rehab were dispatched to the home along Elk Drive at 5:51 a.m. Creekside and Tunnelton firefighters were called for standby detail less than an hour later.
Elderton fire officials say the home is a complete loss and one person had to be rescued. They and a firefighter are currently being treated for smoke inhalation.
No word on the cause, but firefighters are going back this afternoon to investigate.
