Many people will need to be out and about for Christmas Eve, but there may be some alterations to normal schedules.
Some government offices like White Township will close at noon today. If you have any business with township or borough offices, you may want to call first to make sure they will be open before you head out.
S&T Bank, Marion Center Bank and First Commonwealth Bank have announced they will close at noon today for the holiday.
As far as mail goes, USPS mail delivery is as normal today, and post offices will be open, but hours may be modified. Priority express mail will also be delivered. Fed Ex and UPS locations are also scheduled to be open but may be on modified schedules as well.
IndiGo has announced bus service will stop today at 5:15 PM, and there will be no bus service tomorrow. For route 3, service will end at the Indiana Mall at 5:15 PM, while for Route 6, the 4:15 loop departing from Indiana will follow its normal route, but upon reaching Bergman’s at 5:01 PM, they will return directly to IndiGo for its last stop of the day.
