An Indiana businessman is expanding his business reach with the acquisition of a men’s clothing store in Westmoreland County.
Josh Rosenberger of The 700 Shop in Indiana acquired Berk’s Menswear and Tuxedo Shop in North Huntindgon earlier this year in a sale from Bruce Berk, keeping alive a streak of family ownership for four generations. Rosenberger started as a salesman at The 700 Shop in 1998 and purchased the business in July of 2005. He said that the timing was perfect to acquire Berk’s.
The store will retain the Berk’s name in Westmoreland County and offer similar products and services to The 700 Shop. Berk said he felt it was time to retire to spend time with his family.
