The sentencing hearing for a man convicted in the shooting death at the Carriage House Apartments in 2020 has been delayed.
22-year-old Terrion Gates was convicted in late September on charges of second-degree murder, robbery and conspiracy to robbery for the shooting death of Jadeyn Wright in October of 2020. He was with Isabella Edmonds of Indiana, Delmar Chatman of Johnstown, and Isaiah Moore of Philadelphia as they went to rob Wright in the guise of a marijuana buy, but Gates pulled the trigger on the gun that killed Wright.
The defense had requested the delay in the sentencing. No word yet on when the new hearing date will be.
