David J. Reid, 85 of New Alexandria, PA, passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Loyalhanna Care Center, Latrobe, PA. He was born Sunday, March 19, 1939 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late Robert Reid and Ruth (Myers) Reid. David retired from Westinghouse. He loved fishing, spending time with his family and spending time at his cabin.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Cribbs) Byce-Reid, New Alexandria, PA; step-daughters, Kim Byce, Los Angeles, CA and Carol Byce & husband, Jan Miller, Derry, PA and nephew, Robert Reid. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Robert Reid.
The family will receive friends at the Ferguson Funeral Home & Monument Company, 25 W. Market St. Blairsville, PA 15717 on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 1 PM in the funeral home with Pastor Bob Penrose officiating. Interment will be held in the Blairsville Cemetery, Blairsville, Pennsylvania.
