Charges were officially filed against a Coral man for an incident last Thursday in Center Township.
State police say 46-year-old Jeffrey Renwick was arrested and charged with misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering another person and disorderly conduct.
Troopers responded to a disturbance along Cedar Street in Coral shortly before 3:30 after receiving reports that a man fired multiple gunshots in an unknown direction. No one was hurt, but neighbors took shelter inside their homes during the incident.
Upon arrival, troopers identified Renwick as the suspect along with several shell casings on the ground. They spoke with Renwick through a window and he refused to comply with their orders, at which point, the state police SERT team was called in.
Around 6:30, Renwick exited the home and was taken into custody.
Charges were filed through District Judge Christopher Welch’s office. A preliminary hearing is set for December 2.
