For the first time this week, county first responders did not have to deal with any brush fires, but they did respond to a few other calls.
A vehicle accident was reported on South 13th Street in Indiana Borough at 2:41 PM. Indiana Fire Association and Police Department were dispatched at the time, along with Citizen’s Ambulance. Details on the crash have not been released.
At 5:15, Indiana fire crews were back out for a call of utility lines down along Elkin Avenue in White Township.
And the final call of the day was at 11:34 for a vehicle accident on Rushwood Road in Derry Township. Blairsville fire department was called to help crews from Westmoreland County at the scene.
