The state police Explosives Detection Canine Unit are conducting a sweep of the school. No explosives have been found so far.
ORIGINAL STORY:
State police in Indiana are investigating a bomb threat at the Purchase Line Elementary School.
Public Information Officer Cliff Greenfield said that students were evacuated to the high school building sometime Thursday afternoon, however, the exact time of when the threat was called in is not known. Greenfield did confirm that no students are currently in the building and troopers are heading to the school to investigate.
District officials said in a Facebook post that students were dismissed at their regularly scheduled time.
