Less than a week after a broken water pipe damaged the showroom at Luxenberg’s in Downtown Indiana, another portion of their business has been damaged by water.
This time, a hot water tank in an apartment next to the one that had the pipe break ruptured on Saturday, sending water into their sublimation print shop area below. Jeff Widdowson with Luxenberg’s said they are still assessing the damage to the back of the store.
He said that with the latest incident, the business is once again facing a major setback.
The main office was not damaged, but Widdowson is continuing to look for a temporary space to set up shop in Downtown Indiana. Merchandise that was in the displays during the first incident have already been moved to the Indiana Mall location.
