Starting next year, GetGo will have new ownership.
Giant Eagle announced on Monday that they entered into an agreement with Canadien-owned convenience store operator Couche-Tard, which will assume ownership of GetGo’s gas stations and convenience stores starting in 2025.
Officials with Giant Eagle called the agreement quote, “an exciting moment,” and they say the sale will help the company focus resources to enhance and grow their supermarket and pharmacy businesses.
Couche-Tard reportedly plans on partnering with Giant Eagle on the myPerks loyalty program while keeping all dedicated stores, operations and support team members.
Indiana has one GetGo location in the Walmart Plaza along Oakland Avenue.
