Traffic was blocked for about an hour and a half as crews worked to clear a rear-end collision Saturday near Homer City.

The crash was reported around 12:00 PM at the intersection of Routes 119 and 56 and involved an SUV rear-ending a minivan. Homer City and Coral-Graceton fire crews were dispatched to the scene at 12:15 PM along with state police. Crews were on the scene for about an hour and a half to investigate and clean up the scene. Traffic southbound was re-routed through Homer City at Mistretta Distributing Company. Coral-Graceton fire crews were also sent to set up a landing zone for a LifeFlight helicopter.
Troopers on-scene confirmed at least two people were taken to the hospital. Their identities have not been confirmed.
