State Police say a 50-year-old Indiana man was taken into custody after a domestic incident May 29th at a White Township home. The victim, a 37-year-old Indiana woman, suffered visible injuries.
The charges are felony strangulation by blocking the nose and mouth, misdemeanor simple assault, and summary harassment. District Judge Susanne Steffee ordered the defendant to the Indiana County Jail with bond set at $5,000, and set a preliminary hearing for June 11th.
