First responders in Indiana Borough worked quickly to find a missing child and return him home.
Indiana County 911 dispatched Indiana Fire Association members, along with members of State and Indiana Borough Police at 10:35 this morning for form a search detail. Borough Police said a four-year-old boy was reported missing from a home in the East Ward. But Chief Justin Schawl said that thanks to the quick response, the child was successfully located by officers Andrew Koszarek and Zach Newell.
The child was eventually returned home, and even got a tour of the borough police car.
