State officials are extending the deadline for Pennsylvania residents to apply for property tax and rent rebates.
Authorities say the deadline for older adults and Pennsylvania residents with disabilities to apply for these rebates on rent and property taxes paid in 2023 is now December 31st, 2024. The deadline reportedly had been slated to expire yesterday.
The rebates will go to Pennsylvanians aged 65 and up, widows and widowers ageD 50 and older, and residents with disabilities aged 18 and older.
Officials say checks will be sent out beginning on July 1st. You can apply at mypath.pa.gov.
