An Indiana man was arrested Monday afternoon after failing to obey a protection from abuse order in White Township.
Officials with the Indiana County Sheriff’s Office said they were dispatched to an apartment at 244 Elkin Avenue shortly after four o’clock to deliver a PFA order to 24-year-old Johnell Williams II, but he allegedly refused to leave the residence. After sheriff’s deputies warned him to leave multiple times, Williams was arrested and charged with indirect criminal attempt of an order.
He was taken to Indiana County Jail and arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Tony Sottile in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
