Today is the second day of graduation ceremonies to be held at IUP’s KCAC.
The first ceremonies will be held at 9:00 this morning for undergraduate students in the Kopchick College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics along with the College of Health and Human Services, with the 2:00 ceremony for graduates of the Eberly College of Business, the College of Arts and Humanities, the College of Education and the University College. Graduates at the 9:00 ceremony will hear a speech from Ellen Ruddock, who will receive an honorary degree from the university, while those at the 2:00 ceremony will hear from Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro.
The events are ticketed, with tickets being distributed through the graduates to their families. There will be no tickets sold for the event.
Students are asked to arrive fully dressed in their regalia and prepared one and a half hours prior to the start of the ceremony and use entrance 21 of the KCAC. Designated parking lots near the KCAC and across campus will be used for commencement parking and will be free. Vehicular and pedestrian traffic should be higher than normal around campus, so people are advised to be careful when going through campus today.
