The Indiana County Community Action Program has announced a new executive director.
Indiana native Brandi Fleming will take over the role of executive director of ICCAP, taking over for Michelle Faught. For the last few years, Fleming has worked at the organization as a fiscal director, and before that, worked in the private sector for nearly 10 years.
In a statement, she said that in her time with ICCAP, she has seen how poverty, homelessness, food insecurity and negative mental health has had on the community. She will “work intentionally to meet with ICCAP’s mission with the support of my staff, board and community members,” and will use her local connections and experience to guide the organization into the future.
