Criminal call hearings are scheduled today for Indiana County Court, including a hearing for a man who lead police on a chase in 2023.
Indiana Borough Police charged 27-year-old Tyrone Thomas III with simple assault, harassment and contempt of court for an incident on September 23rd, 2023. The next day, he allegedly was involved in an incident at a convenience store in the 300 block of Philadelphia Street in Indiana Borough as police tried to serve an arrest warrant on him. He tried to run away from police, but he was eventually apprehended. In the case from September 24th, he faces charges of resisting arrest, flight to avoid apprehension, evading arrest on foot and disorderly conduct.
