On Wednesday, the White Township Supervisors were updated on how the township will interact the county’s emergency authority at this point.
Township Manager Chris Anderson said that he sent a letter out to the county commissioners, saying they want to be a part of the process and learn as much as they can on the issue. He said that there are three potential options that the township will consider as far as having an ambulance service.
The supervisors were also updated on a potential grant that they are applying for. The application is for a Covid-1 ARPA PA Multi-Purpose Community Facilities Program grant for $1.6 million. If the township is awarded the grant, it would go towards a garage expansion, additional office space and upgrades to the township building.
