Along with the crash in Center Township, Friday was a busy day for area first responders.
Two structure fires were reported within three hours of each other. The first was along North 6th Street in Indiana Borough around 8:09 p.m. Indiana, Homer City, Creekside, and Clymer firefighters were dispatched along with Team 900. The next was along Liekert Avenue in Burrell Township around 10:46. Black Lick, Blairsville, Homer City, and Coral-Graceton firefighters were summoned along with Team 900.

Rossiter and Big Run fire departments responded to a carbon monoxide alarm around 2:26 p.m. Minutes later, Indiana Fire Association Companies two and three were dispatched to Haven Drive in White Township for an automatic fire alarm activation. And Marion Center firefighters were called for a gas leak at a location along Richmond Road in East Mahoning Township around 7:30 p.m.
