Born February 23, 1957 in Oneida, NY she was the daughter of Robert E. and Constance L.
Taylor.
She was well known in the Indiana area and loved meeting people through her career as
Manager of McSorley’s Restaurant and her catering business, Sarah’s Catering. She was
awarded the first IRMC Care Giver Award for her loving and compassionate care of her aging
parents. She was a fierce advocate for kidney donation and also a decades long friend of Bill W.
She was preceded in death by her sister in 2020 Margaret Taylor Kiracofe of Westminster, MD
and her fiancé in 2021, Richard Orendorff, of Indiana.
She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Anne Taylor and Nicholas Karasek of
Hillsborough, NC; sister and brother-in-law, Amy Taylor and Scott Elgin of Indiana, PA; brother-
in-law Rolland Kiracofe; nephews Adam Taylor Kiracofe and Steven Liboski; and niece Alexandra
(Liboski) Surface. She is also survived by the many members of her fiancé’s Orendorff family
including Julie (Orendorff) Brunetto and grandchildren Isabella and Grayson Brunetto.
In her youth, Sarah was crowned Queen of Water Street Playground and was a champion box
hockey competitor. She delighted in trips to Hatch Lake and the Bahamas with family and close.
