On Wednesday night, White Township Supervisors tabled a motion to make recommendations on a county emergency authority.
Township Manager Chris Anderson said that they were asked by the county to give their feedback on the issue by the end of this month, but he said that what started initially as a funding mechanism for ambulance service has transitioned into other options. Anderson said that they need to find the answer that is the right for the township.
The supervisors also opened bids on paving and paving materials. Low bids were submitted by Derry Construction for the work; Russell Standard for the seal coating; McClymonds Supply, Blanco Trucking, Ligonier Stone, and Lindy Paving for the materials, and Indiana Fuel for the fuel.
