Four fire companies were dispatched Thursday evening to a fire at a home in Washington Township.
Creekside, Plumville, Marion Center and Indiana fire departments, the RIT team and Citizens’ Ambulance were initially called out to a home on Oak Tree Trailer Park Road outside of Creekside for a reported structure fire at 6:11 PM, according to Indiana County 911. Creekside fire department said they discovered the fire was electrical in nature when they arrived, finding that an outlet was burned but no fire was showing. Crews were able to secure power to the building and checked to see if the fire had spread. Everything was cleared without further incident and crews were cancelled.
