Two fires were reported by Indiana County 911 on Sunday, with one of them being a brush fire.
The first fire was at 5:41 AM, as Indiana County 911 reported the structure fire on Philadelphia Street in Indiana Borough. Indiana, Homer City, Clymer and Creekside fire departments were dispatched at the time, along with the RIT Team and Citizens’ Ambulance.
The other fire marked the 17th brush fire of the year, which was reported on Goodville Road in West Mahoning Township. Dayton and Plumville fire departments were dispatched at 6:25 PM.
The other two calls for service on Sunday were listed as miscellaneous in nature. Saltsburg fire department was called out to Foster Road in Conemaugh Township for a tree down at 3:29 PM. And Indiana Fire Association company 3 and Indiana Borough Police were called out for a miscellaneous call at 7:09 PM on Philadelphia Street.
