A preliminary hearing is set today for a man charged with burglarizing a business in Green Township.
Court documents show that the hearing is for 42-year-old Paul Llewellyn of Marion Center. He faces charges of burglary, criminal mischief, possession of an instrument of crime and criminal trespass for the incident on February 2nd of this year at Betty Lou’s in Commodore. Police say at 4:11 AM that day, he shot out a side window with a 12-gauge shotgun and entered the building through the broken window. While extensive damage was reported, nothing was stolen in the burglary. He fled the scene prior to the arrival of police. Llewellyn was taken into custody five days later.
He is free on $10,000 cash bond, and is due in District Judge Christopher Welch’s office at 8:45 this morning.
Today is also the preliminary hearing for a Homer City man charged with homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence.
23-year-old Reed Tantlinger has been in Indiana County Jail since his arrest on March 1st for the fatal crash on January 7th of 2023 on Route 422 West in Pine Township.
