At last night’s meeting, Indiana Borough Council announced that they would form an ad hoc committee concerning food trucks and other transient businesses.
Council had received a request to have some food trucks in IRMC Park, and Kaycee Newell said that they are forming the ad hoc committee to revisit the ordinance on transient business because times have changed since it was originally put in place.
In other business, Borough Manager Nicole Sipos said that the move to Indiana Borough’s temporary office space is set to get underway soon, as a meeting is scheduled on March 12th, but after that, more of a timeline will be in place.
The borough offices will be temporarily located in the former District Judge office on Water Street.
