Today is President’s Day, which is meant to celebrate all the people who served as president of the United States, and also honors the birth of the first U.S. president, George Washington. As today is a federal holiday, there are some closures in effect.
Federal and state offices are closed today. This includes PennDOT Drivers License and Photo Centers. PA Liquor stores will be open for their normal hours today. The Indiana County Courthouse will also be closed today, including the county’s row offices and courts.
Many banks will be closed today, but many will offer online services. There will be no regular mail delivery and all post offices will be closed for the day as well. Fed Ex and UPS will continue to offer delivery today.
