Diane M. Rebyanski, 65, of Shelocta, Pennsylvania, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 12, 2024, with her two sons by her side, at Indiana Regional Medical Center.
The daughter of the late Leo and Lottie (Madey) Pividori, she was born on June 20, 1958, in Indiana, Pennsylvania.
Diane was a graduate of Apollo Ridge High School, class of 1976, and was a member of the National Honor Society. Upon graduation, she was employed at Robertshaw Controls in Indiana. Once married, she spent the first several years of her children’s lives as a housewife and a loving mother. Upon returning to the workforce, she served as a lunch aide at Ben Franklin Elementary before becoming a Food Service Manager at the Indiana Area Junior High School, until her retirement. She also spent many summers as a lunch aide at the Chevy Chase Community Center. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Kent, Pennsylvania.
As a mother, Diane loved supporting both of her son’s athletic baseball careers, while becoming an avid fan of the game of baseball. She spent countless hours at the baseball fields for their games and practices, even through the remaining months of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her four granddaughters at their athletic events and dance shows, along with her daily coffee visits with her closest of friends. She also enjoyed her evening walks with her neighbor and beloved dog Kali.
Diane is survived by her two sons, Anthony Rebyanski and wife Amy, of Indiana, and Matthew Rebyanski and wife Samantha of Indiana; and four granddaughters, Ava, Aliana, Evette, and Matilyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Michael Rebyanski, in 2012.
Friends will be received on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM at the John A. Lefdahl Funeral Home, 898 Old Hwy 119, N. Indiana, Pennsylvania.
Interment will be private.
