The Road to the KCAC semifinal matchups are set after Friday’s slate of games.
River Valley and Marion Center’s girls traded punches all night long, but it was the Panthers who punched their ticket to the postseason with a 34-26 win on the road.

The Panthers clinched the second seed in the Heritage Conference West and will face Portage, the top seed in the East, Tuesday night. Both teams met January 11 and the Panthers won 59-43. That game will air at 6:45 on Cat Country 106.3 FM and Renda Digital TV.
The other semifinal game features West top seed Penns Manor hosting East second seed United. That game will also air at 6:45 on U92.5 FM and Renda Digital TV.
The Mustangs downed United, 53-44, on Friday.
Penns Manor wrapped up its regular season last night with a 57-29 win over West Shamokin. The Comets led 20-6 after one and 32-8 at the half, leaving the second half up to the defense. Alyssa Altemus led all scorers with 19 points. Sydney Shaffer added 11 and Sarah Stiteler 10.
Elsewhere in the Heritage Conference, Homer-Center downed Purchase Line, 66-35.

BOYS BASKETBALL
The Road to the KCAC boys’ semifinals are also set for Monday evening.
West Shamokin clinched the second seed in the West and will face Conemaugh Township, the top seed in the East, in one game, while the other features West top seed River Valley hosting East second seed Conemaugh Valley.
The West Shamokin/Conemaugh Township game will air at 6:45 Monday night on U92.5 FM and Renda Digital TV. The River Valley/Conemaugh Valley game airs at 6:45 on Cat Country 106.3 FM and Renda Digital TV.
Windber topped Portage, 50-37.
Indiana fell to Knoch, 51-41. Both teams kept it close through the first two quarters, but Knoch pulled away in the second half thanks to a 10-0 run to start the third quarter, and a big night from Jackson Bauman, who led all scorers with 18 points. Aaron Webb led Indiana with 15 points while Tristan Redinger added 11.
Indiana still has a chance to clinch the final playoff spot on Tuesday if they can down Freeport, who upset Knoch last week.
