Penelec will have a planned power outage for Marion Center area today.
Reports say that the outage will run from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM today. No word yet for the reason of the outage.
Marion Center Fire Department said that they will be affected by the outage at their station, as they will not have access to the telephone or power, but they will be ready to respond if someone calls 911. They also ask people with elderly neighbors to check in on them from time to time today.
