Lauryn Mary Osborne, 34, of Indiana, passed away suddenly at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center as the result of a very short, acute illness on Friday, January 12, 2024. She was born in Pittsburgh on January 27, 1989, to loving parents Stephen W. and Natalie A. (Mindala) Osborne.
Lauryn was a 2007 graduate of Indiana High School and a 2013 graduate of IUP (with honors) with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science. She also studied Yoga at Schoolhouse Yoga in Pittsburgh in a lengthy program and received her Yoga Certification. She was a personal trainer and a Yoga instructor at Sunflower Yoga & Fitness Center. She also worked at Spirit Life and the Indiana County Recovery Center (ICRC) teaching yoga.
She loved all animals and was constantly rescuing them. She loved her horse Oscar, he was hers for 22 years, and her special cat Evie. She was committed to helping people, especially when they were down and out and needed encouragement or help.
Besides her parents, Lauryn is survived by her devoted husband Corey M. Lunchuck, whom she married on August 13, 2021, her beloved five-year-old son Jackson Stephen Osborne; close sister Tracy Dixson, of Indiana; mother-in-law Judith K. (Fulton) Lunchuck, of Indiana; sister-in-law Brianna Lunchuck, of Indiana; special cousins Katie, Kelly, and Leah; nephews Brandon and Ryan and great niece Sophia; Aunts Kathie and Anne; and godfather Joseph Mindala, as well as many beloved friends.
Lauryn is preceded in death by both her maternal and paternal grandparents, and her uncle, Tom Mindala.
At Lauryn’s family’s request, all services will be private and have been entrusted to the care of the Bowser Minich Funeral Home, Indiana. There will be a Celebration of Life in the Spring for family and friends to attend.
