After dealing with over 40 calls during the winter storms on Tuesday, Indiana County First Responders had a very calm day on Wednesday.
Two pumping details were called for in Center Township, with both calls happening on Cedar Street. The first was at 6:08 AM and the second came at 11:15 AM. Coral-Graceton firefighters were called out for both details. Homer City Fire Department was called out at 11:26 AM for a reported gas leak on Six Flats Road in Center Township.
Two vehicle accidents were reported on Wednesday. The first was at 4:40 AM on Parkwood Road in Young Township, which brought out the Iselin-West Lebanon and Coal Run-McIntyre fire departments along with the State Police and Citizens’ Ambulance. The second accident was at 12:10 PM on Reynolds Road in West Wheatfield Township. The Clyde and Armagh Fire departments, Citizens’ ambulance and state police were called out at that time. No details are available on either of those accidents.
There was also a report of utility lines down on Campbells Mills Road in Burrell Township at 8:32 last night. Black Lick and Blairsville firefighters responded at the time.
