The bank has pledged $500,000 to go towards the Behavioral Health Building that is slated to open in the fall of this year. In a statement, S&T Bank President David Antolik said that they felt the project was important to support as it will “serve a wide variety of generations, so care will be given regardless of the individual’s life stage.”
Indiana Healthcare Foundation Executive Director Heather Reed talked about the importance of this contribution.
The new facility plans to provide care for mental illness, suicide prevention, drug addiction and dementia with 44 beds in the facility. That will allow doctors to treat eight adolescents, 12 geriatric patients and 24 adults at any one time.
