Today marks the first day of 2024. As today is a federally recognized holiday, there are some closures in effect.
Federal, state and local government offices are closed for the day. This includes PennDOT Driver’s License Centers and county courts. State liquor stores are also closed for the day and will reopen at their normal hours tomorrow. Many banks are also closed for the day, but banking can be done using ATM or online options.
There will be no regular mail delivery today. Post offices are also closed for the day. UPS and FedEx are also closed and will not offer regular deliveries. IndiGo buses will not be in service today. Also, garbage collection may be delayed if it is picked up today. Check with your refuse hauler to see if a holiday schedule is in effect.
