Barbara L. (Biconik) Hayduk, 79 of Home, PA., passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2023, at Crystal Waters Nursing Home, Home, PA.
She was the daughter of David and Anna (Kolich) Biconik, born August 13, 1944, in Homer City, PA.
Barbara attended Homer City High School and was a member of the Church of the Resurrection. Barbara worked as an office manager at IRMC for well over 10 years before she retired. She was a loving mother and grandmother who made everyone feel special and was overly kind. Her smile was infectious and left a lasting impression on those she touched. Even at the end of her life, she found a way to smile and bring joy to those who saw her. She loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Barbara will be remembered most for hosting family dinners every Christmas Eve, her crocheted gifts, and the cookies she baked and shared with friends and family.
She is survived by her son, John D. Hayduk, grandsons, James D. Hopkins, Stephen J. Hayduk, Christopher L. Hayduk, and sisters, Florence Biconik, Mary Robertson, Helen Smicklo.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 45 years, John J. Hayduk in 2011.
All services will be private for the family. The McCabe~Roof Funeral Home, 565 Franklin St., Clymer is assisting the Hayduk family.
