Cheryl Ann (Lucas) Geiss, 66, of Indiana passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023 at her home. Born in Indiana on January 25, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Raymond W. and Thelma (Hazlett) Lucas.
She was a graduate of Homer Center High School. Cheryl enjoyed caring for and being with her friends. She treated everyone with compassion and showed love like no other. She cared deeply for her children and was always there for them when they needed her. She enjoyed playing backgammon and card games with her son every time he visited. She loved all dogs, especially her two chihuahuas Dino and Sonya.
Cheryl is survived by her son, Charles Gary Geiss, of Youngstown, OH; her aunt: Marie Hazlett, Homer City; cousin: Rev. Brant Hazlett, of FL and her nephew: Jeffrey Vance, of Homer City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son: Craig Wilson Geiss in August 2021; and her sister: Betsy (Lucas) Vance.
Funeral arrangements are private, the Geiss family is being assisted by Evergreen Cremations, Inc. Indiana. If you would like to pay your respects a memorial service will be held this Friday December 8th from 3pm till 6pm at the Lodge at Blue Spruce Park. Refreshments will be made available.
