John A. Rhodes II, 74, Homer City, passed away on November 27, 2023. He was born August 5, 1949 in Altoona, PA. John’s jovial spirit touched many throughout his lifetime.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Sheila Rhodes (Davis), and four daughters, Amy Rhodes of Altoona, and Michelle, Kristie and Melodie Muir, all of Florida. John’s legacy also lives on through his siblings, Mary, Bonnie, Jerry, and Robert, though he now joins his son, Steve Rhodes, in eternal rest.
John was a lifetime member of the Bavarian Aid Society and the Graceton-Coral Sportsmen Club, where his friendly demeanor made him a beloved figure. His passions included camping, fishing, gardening, and building—activities that reflected his funny, friendly, and adventurous nature.
John’s memory will be treasured by all who knew him, as his laughter and warmth were truly the keystones of his character. He will be profoundly missed.
