Indiana County first responders were called out for five incidents on Sunday.
The first was at 1:41 AM on Route 553 in Cherryhill Township, which brought out Cherryhill Township Volunteer Fire Department, Citizens’ EMS and state police. A second accident was reported at 5:55 PM along Cameron’s Road in Buffington Township. Vintondale, Brush Valley and Armagh-East Wheatfield fire departments, Blacklick Valley EMTs and state police were dispatched at the time. Details on the accidents have not been released as of yet.
Rossiter firefighters joined Big Run Volunteer Fire Department from Jefferson County for a report of an automatic fire alarm at 11:30 AM.
A vehicle fire was reported on Parkwood Road in Armstrong Township at 3:52 PM, and that brought out Indiana fire department and state police.
Finally, the Iselin fire department was called in to help with a brush fire on Windy Flats Road in Armstrong County.
