Two people were elected to six-year terms for the White Township board of supervisors.
Tim Vislosky received the most votes for the supervisor position, with 2,295 votes cast for him across the seven White Township precincts. Vislosky is a familiar face to the township as he retired in June of 2022 after serving the township for 36 years on its sewer and road crews. Coming in second was longtime supervisor and former chairman of the supervisors’ board George Lenz, who received 1,966 votes. Township resident Fred Heilman was third with 1,604 votes.
While Supervisor Eugene Gemmell was running a write-in campaign, there were only 436 write in votes cast. The names on those write-in votes will be announced when the results are certified by the elections board.
