One of the 31 suspects in a drug ring that conspired to distribute drugs was sentenced yesterday in Federal Court.
US District Attorney Eric G. Olshan announced on Tuesday that 33-year-old Joseph Thornton of Johnstown was ordered to serve 42 months in federal prison and three years of supervised release. He was convicted of conspiracy to distribute and possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.
