Sentencing hearings are scheduled for Indiana County Court today, including one for a Blairsville man who pleaded guilty to charges of corruption of minors.
Court documents show that 69-year-old William Rodkey will be sentenced before Judge Gina Force. He faces five counts each of corruption of minors, indecent exposure, and indecent assault of someone under the age of 13. The indecent exposure and indecent assault charges were not prosecuted. Rodkey was charged by state police for incidents between 2009 and 2021. Police investigated sexual assaults allegedly against him by three young girls in various locations of East Wheatfield Township. The victims claimed that Rodkey exposed himself and or had indecent contact with them.
Also due for a sentencing hearing today is 39-year-old David Burk of Strongstown. He was originally charged with operating a meth lab, illegal deposits of chemical waste, possession of a precursor substance, possession with intent to deliver, causing a catastrophe, possession of a controlled substance and of drug paraphernalia and possession of ephedrine. He eventually pleaded guilty to felony possession of a precursor substance. The incident dates back to January 13th of 2020.
