Officers from the Indiana County Drug Task Force were involved in an investigation earlier this morning at a business in Indiana Borough.
Police from Indiana, Homer City and Blairsville Boroughs along with the county sheriff’s office executed a search warrant at the “Hippie Town” store in the 700 block of Philadelphia Street.
Indiana County District Attorney Robert Manzi said previously, an individual working there was charged with possession of controlled substances with intent to distribute, and it was determined that another person was selling controlled substances out of that store. A controlled buy was completed, and a search warrant was approved.
Manzi said the investigation is on-going and more information will be provided in the near-future.
