An Indiana man was sentenced in five different cases on Monday.
39-year-old Dennis Lewis, Jr. was ordered to serve up to a day less than two years in the Indiana County Jail along with probation time after his release in several of the cases he faced. Sentences were ordered to run concurrently.
In two cases, he pleaded guilty to retail theft, and in one case he was charged with theft by deception. He was also charged with resisting arrest and criminal mischief for an incident in August of 2022 when police apprehended him in the 400 block of Philadelphia Street. In the final case, he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and criminal mischief.
