Three people were cited following incidents of retail theft at the Sheetz along Philadelphia Street over the weekend.
Indiana Borough Police say the first incident happened shortly after 5 PM on Thursday when 23-year-old Kyreek Finney allegedly took the cigars and left the store without paying for them after not having his identification in order to purchase them. He was later issued a citation for retail theft.
The next incidents happened early Sunday morning. Officers say 19-year-old Derek Horn of Harmony allegedly took items from the store without paying for them around 1:25 AM. They also discovered he had consumed alcohol despite not being 21 years old. All items were returned to the store and citations were filed through Magisterial District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
Two hours later, 20-year-old Daeyonna Thomas allegedly took several items from the store without paying for them. He was later cited for retail theft.
