While the official start of the fair is not for a few days, there will be some activity at the fairgrounds starting today.
Only one event is on the schedule for today, and that is the first of two days of harness racing, which will start at 2:00 PM.
Tomorrow there will be more activity at the fairground. Along with the second day of harness races, all exhibits with the exception of Christmas Trees and Livestock will be submitted for judging. Exhibits must be taken to the fairground between Noon and 7 PM tomorrow.
The first day of the fair is Saturday, with a $5 admission to the grandstand events. Exhibits will be judged starting at 9:00 AM. Carcass livestock will be received until 5 PM Saturday. There will also be two tractor pull events in front of the Grandstand. The first is the antique tractor pull at 9:00 AM and the Modified and Farm Tractor Pull will be held at 7:00 PM.
