One person was hurt in a crash involving two cars this morning in Homer City.
Indiana County 911 dispatched Homer City, Blacklick and Coral fire departments, along with Homer City police and Citizens’ Ambulance to the crash at the intersection of Route 119 and Ridge Avenue shortly after 8:30. Homer City fire chief Terry Gardner said one person attempted to turn right into the northbound lane of 119 during a red light, when the person behind them crashed into the rear of their vehicle believing the light was green.
One man suffered minor injuries and was treated at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.
